Troy Taylor
Troy Taylor is the owner and creator of the Alton Hauntings Tours and the author of Haunted Alton, Weird Illinois, Haunted Illinois and literally more than four dozen other books about hauntings and the unexplained in Illinois and America.

Along with writing about the weird and unusual, Taylor is also a public speaker on the subject and has spoken to literally hundreds of private and public groups. He has appeared in newspaper and magazine articles and has also been interviewed hundreds of times for radio and television broadcasts about the supernatural. He has also appeared in a number of documentary films, several television series and in one feature horror film called "The St. Francisville Experiment". Critics called him the "best actor in the film", which wasn't saying much since he was playing himself.

When not pounding away on a typewriter and chasing ghosts, Taylor is also the owner of the Illinois Hauntings Tour Co., which operates ghost tours (and the Alton Hauntings Tour) all over the state. He began his career with ghost tours in high school, where he was well known for his interest in "things that go bump in the night", by taking his friends on informal tours of haunted places all over Illinois. Some of these friends still speak to him today!

Taylor created the Haunted Decatur Tours in 1994 (the third longest running ghost tour in Illinois) and the Alton Hauntings Tour in 1999. He would wind up putting Decatur on the map as "one of the most haunted cities in the Midwest" and Alton as "one of the most haunted small towns in America." Taylor started the Weird Chicago Tour in 2006, the same year that helped start ghost tours in Springfield, Illinois as well.

Troy and his wife, Haven, currently reside in an undisclosed location, pending the dismissal of charges in Key West, Florida involving the theft of several turtles.

Len Adams
Len Adams is the Vice-President, Chief of Operations and Investigation Coordinator of The American Ghost Society and lead guide for Troy Taylor’s Alton Hauntings Tours in southwestern Illinois. He has been actively investigating ghosts for many years and currents handles the AGS investigations for most of downstate Illinois. His first book, SO THERE I WAS...., co-written with Troy Taylor, was released in Spring 2006.

Len has been hosting ghost tours in Alton for several years, as well as haunted overnights in Southern Illinois, and has also appeared in a number of newspaper articles about ghosts and hauntings. He had been interviewed numerous times for radio and television broadcasts about the paranormal and has been featured for several local news broadcasts.

He has also served as a public speaker for private and public groups in St. Louis and the surrounding area.

Born in St. Louis and raised in southern Illinois, Len now resides in Belleville with his wife, Kim. His current house is “ghost free” but as he says --- “there’s always hope”.

Luke Naliborski
Luke Naliborski is an American Ghost Society Area Rep for Southwestern Illinois. Along with his fellow guide, Len Adams, Luke has been investigating hauntings in the Southern Illinois and St. Louis area for many years. In 2005, he became a guide for the Alton Hauntings Tours, bringing his experience with Alton history and the supernatural to hundreds of tour attendees each season.

Luke is the author of the book THE LIGHTER SIDE OF DARKNESS, which features a number of stories about the Alton Hauntings Tours and has also been involved with the media many times in connection to ghosts and hauntings. He appeared on a paranormal television show called Mysterious Worlds: America’s Ghost Hunters which was aired on The Learning Channel. He has also appeared on network news broadcasts, as well as radio shows, about hauntings in the region.

Born in Belleville, IL, Luke now resides in Mascoutah, IL with his wife Heather and beautiful little girl, Iris. His house isn’t haunted either, at least not yet.
