PRIVATE TOURS FOR GROUPS, CORPORATE EVENTS, OR JUST FRIENDS LOOKING FOR A SPOOKY TIME!
We offer several different options for private tours, depending on what you're looking for. Our most popular options are the Alton Hauntings Walking Tour, the Ghost Hunter's Tour, or Step-on Guide Tours for groups who are coming into Alton and bringing their own vehicle. Pricing is based on a per-person price for most tours and a per-hour fee for step-on guide tour. See the details below and then send us an email to book!
PRIVATE WALKING TOURS:
Private tours are available during the spring and summer months, but any fall private tours have to be booked no later than September 1 due to our heavy public schedule during the Halloween season. The minimum number for a walking tour is 20 people ($500), even if your party has less people than that. After 20, each additional guest is $25 per person. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking and the remainder is due on the Monday prior to the tour.
We also offer private GHOST HUNTER'S TOURS. The minimum number for this tour is 10 ($400) and after that, it is $40 for each additional person. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking and the remainder is due on the Monday prior to the tour.
STEP-ON GUIDE TOURS
Private Alton Hauntings Tours are also available for groups coming into town with their own bus. This type of tour is for groups only! We do not offer them for individuals. All Step-On Guide Tours are 3-hours in length and can be customized according to visitor's plans. Guides are furnished for a $500 flat fee) A $100 non-refundable deposit (per bus) is due at the time of booking and the remainder is due on the Monday prior to the tour.
